EYFS Teaching Assistant - South Ribble Preston

Location: South Ribble, Preston Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 3:30pm Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, Ongoing

REED/LTA are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in South Ribble, Preston . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children during the early stages of their education and is available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children within the EYFS classroom.
• Assisting the class teacher with engaging learning activities.
• Working with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and development.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction.
• Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and general EYFS duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting is preferred .
• A positive, patient, and caring approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
