Executive Assistant to CEO & Executive Directors - 3-month Contract

Governance & Executive Support

Are you an experienced Executive Assistant with a strong background in governance, board administration, and senior stakeholder management ?

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the CEO and Executive Directors. This role sits at the heart of the organisation, combining high-level executive support with responsibility for governance coordination, board administration, and ensuring key organisational decisions are effectively managed and recorded.

The Role

As Executive Assistant, you will be a trusted partner to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, ensuring executive priorities, governance requirements, and strategic initiatives are coordinated to the highest standard.

A significant part of the role will involve supporting the organisation's governance framework, including Board and Committee administration, corporate governance processes, and maintaining accurate records of key decisions and actions.

Key Responsibilities

Governance & Board Support

  • Lead the administration of Board, Committee, and senior leadership meetings.
  • Prepare agendas, board packs, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Produce accurate minutes and maintain action logs.
  • Monitor governance actions and ensure timely completion.
  • Support compliance with governance procedures, policies, and organisational frameworks.
  • Act as a key liaison between Executive Directors, Board Members, and stakeholders.

Executive Support

  • Provide comprehensive support to the CEO and Executive Directors.
  • Manage complex diaries, schedules, and meeting arrangements.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and briefing papers.
  • Coordinate executive communications and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support the delivery of organisational priorities and strategic projects.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a professional first point of contact for senior-level enquiries.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and executive forums.

About You

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Significant experience supporting senior executives or directors.
  • Strong governance, board administration, or company secretariat experience.
  • Experience preparing Board and Committee papers, agendas, and minutes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confidence working independently in a fast-paced senior leadership environment.
