As an ELP Advisor, you will work in a capacity similar to a Key Worker, providing tailored support to residents who may be experiencing long-term health conditions, disabilities, caring responsibilities, or other complex barriers preventing them from entering the workplace.
You will build trusted relationships with customers, empower them through person-centred support, and connect them with the services and opportunities they need to achieve their goals.

- Offer practical careers guidance including CV writing, job search support, and interview preparation.
- Use motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive change and progression.
- Manage a diverse caseload, including vulnerable individuals and those facing multiple or complex barriers.
- Identify wider support needs and make appropriate referrals and signposting to specialist agencies and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners, employers, training providers, and community organisations.
- Generate referrals and maintain participant engagement through high-quality, person-centred interactions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support both team objectives and customer outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with programme requirements.
