Reed Further Education is seeking experienced Dyslexia Tutors for an exciting temporary opportunity within the education sector. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about supporting learners with specific learning difficulties and who hold the relevant specialist qualifications.

Dyslexia Tutor

Hourly Rate: Up to £30 per hour Location: Midlands Job Type: Ongoing temp (Term time only ) Hours: Part time

Day-to-day of the role of a Dyslexia Teacher :

• Provide tailored support to learners diagnosed with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties.
• Utilise specialist knowledge to assess and support learners, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with educational staff to implement effective learning strategies.
• Monitor and report on the progress of learners, adapting techniques as needed to suit individual needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Dyslexia Teacher

• Must hold a Level 7 Certificate in Assessing and Supporting Learners with SpLD.
• Proven experience supporting learners with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with learners.
• Previous experience in education or tutoring is essential.
