Driver/Warehouse Operative

Hourly pay rate £14.50 Working hours Monday to Friday, 7.30am until 4pm (37.5 hours) Location: Milton Keynes Job Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent

We are looking for a Driver/Warehouse Operative who enjoys warehouse work and is eager to grow and learn within our company.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner locally,
• Assist with loading and unloading of company vehicles and ensure secure transport of materials.
• Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure all documentation is submitted to management on time.
• Receive training to operate cutting saws and other machinery as part of general warehouse duties.
• Manage inventory and storage in the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and organisation.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s licence
• Interest in learning to operate warehouse machinery (full training will be provided).
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (weight no more than 20kg) and handle physical workload.
• Good communication skills and a team player.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
