Reed is recruiting for a Customer Services Specialistfor a client based in Bradford. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service to a specific portfolio of clients, managing day-to-day activities, and ensuring client satisfaction by meeting their expectations efficiently.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing their expectations and keeping them informed about project deadlines and updates.
• Plan jobs in alignment with the site’s production schedule and warehouse capacity to meet customer expectations.
• Manage all aspects of component supply, both incoming and outgoing.
• Forecast short-term demand to drive warehouse efficiency.
• Maintain effective communication with all relevant departments including production, commercial, quality, warehouse, and finance to ensure smooth production and early mitigation of potential issues.
• Handle customer requests, maintain stock sheets, and manage stock counts.
• Undertake additional tasks as required by clients or the Customer Services Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in supply chain management and customer interaction.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Familiarity with SAP (including item setup, BOMs, routes, work orders, purchase orders, and sales orders) is advantageous, though full training will be provided.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to work.
• Excellent communication skills, with a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to handle high volumes of numerical data and communicate effectively with high-level management.
• Confident, thorough, and collaborative approach.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
