Temporary Customer Service Assistant

Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour (paid weekly) Contract: Temporary (Week-by-Week Basis) Start Date: ASAP Hours: Full-Time, Office-Based

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Customer Service Assistant to join a busy and growing organisation in Salisbury on a week-by-week temporary basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and sales support experience who is available to start immediately.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide excellent customer service via telephone and email.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Support customers with product, delivery, and order enquiries.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met.
• Maintain accurate records on company systems.
• Assist the sales team with administrative and customer support duties.
• Manage customer queries and resolve issues in a professional manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Customer Service, Sales Support, Internal Sales, or Account Support role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
• Professional, positive, and customer-focused approach.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience within the medical devices, medical consumables, medical components, healthcare, or technical manufacturing sectors.
• Experience supporting B2B customers.
• Order processing and account administration experience.
