Curriculum Manager - Professional services

North London - FTC maternity cover £55,684 - £59,065 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Curriculum Manager to lead and develop Accounting & Finance provision within a successful Further Education environment.

We are seeking an ambitious and inspiring education leader with a proven track record of driving quality improvement, developing staff, and delivering outstanding learner outcomes. This role would suit an existing Curriculum Manager, Head of Department, Head of School or a senior curriculum leader looking for their next challenge.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Accounting & Finance curriculum provision
• Drive improvements in learner recruitment, retention and achievement
• Manage and support teaching staff to deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment
• Lead quality assurance activities including lesson observations, SARs and QIPs
• Monitor curriculum performance and implement continuous improvement strategies
• Develop employer and stakeholder relationships
• Contribute to curriculum planning, growth and business development
• Ensure compliance with awarding body and funding requirements
• Promote innovation in teaching and learning, including digital delivery
• Teach up to a maximum of 15 hours. per week

Essential Requirements

• Relevant degree and/or professional qualification
• Full teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, DET or equivalent)
• Experience coordinating or managing curriculum delivery within FE
• Experience managing teaching staff and driving performance improvement
• Strong understanding of quality assurance processes including SARs and QIPs
• Experience analysing recruitment, retention and achievement data
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable

• Accounting, Finance or Professional Services curriculum experience
• Verifier qualification
• Experience of curriculum growth and employer engagement
