Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Consultant Social Worker to join their Family Help Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Support and mentor up to 12 Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) social workers.
- Act as a role model for excellent social work practice and professional standards.
- Provide guidance and support with assessments, planning, and interventions for children and families.
- Complete direct observations, reflective discussions, and provide constructive feedback to support professional development.
- Undertake quality assurance activities and contribute to performance management processes.
- Prepare and review reports, ensuring high-quality and timely written work.
- Work closely with Workforce Development to deliver bespoke training and support ASYEs in attending key meetings and professional learning opportunities.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
