Compliance Specialist

Position: Compliance Specialist Location: Theale Contract: 6-month Fixed-Term Contract, with the potential for extension depending on workload Salary: £50,000 pro rata Working Hours: Typically 8:00am–5:00pm, with flexibility around start and finish times Driving Licence: Not essential

Role Overview An opportunity for an experienced Compliance Specialist to join the business in a broad and varied compliance and quality-focused role. The successful candidate will ideally have experience working with temperature-controlled systems/environments and within highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals . The role will not involve physically handling food or pharmaceutical products but will focus on ensuring the associated systems, processes and operations remain compliant with relevant quality standards, fll based in a Warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities Carrying out compliance checks Supporting and conducting regular internal and external audits Monitoring compliance procedures and identifying areas for improvement Ensuring processes meet required quality and regulatory standards Working with temperature-controlled systems and processes Maintaining accurate compliance documentation and records Supporting wider quality and compliance activities across the business Identifying non-conformances and supporting corrective actions Key Skills & Experience Previous experience within a Compliance and Audits Strong experience and understanding of ISO 9001 Experience conducting and supporting regular audits Previous exposure to temperature-controlled environments/systems Experience within pharmaceutical or another regulated industry would be highly desirable Excellent attention to detail Strong organisational and documentation skills Excellent IT skills and confidence working with compliance and reporting systems Able to work independently within a broad and varied role

Ideal Candidate An experienced, hands-on Compliance Specialist who is comfortable taking ownership of quality and compliance activities. They will have strong auditing knowledge, excellent attention to detail and ideally experience working with ISO 9001 and temperature-controlled systems .
