Location: Welwyn Garden City (Fully Remote) Contract: Temporary, 4 Weeks (with potential extension) Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Pay Rate: £15.38 - £20.51 per hour Start Date: ASAP

Our client, based in Welwyn Garden City, is seeking an experienced Compliance Administrator to support the team in preparation for an upcoming CQC inspection . This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised compliance professional who can quickly integrate into the team and work effectively within a regulated environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of compliance processes, regulatory requirements, and auditing procedures, ideally within the healthcare, care, or NHS sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit a high volume of personnel and compliance files to ensure all required documentation is present, accurate, and up to date.
  • Identify missing documentation and proactively follow up with relevant individuals to obtain outstanding information.
  • Support the organisation in preparing for a pending CQC inspection.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safer recruitment standards.
  • Review compliance records and processes to ensure best practice and adherence to legislation.
  • Work efficiently to tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve compliance queries.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a Compliance Administrator, Compliance Officer, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of CQC requirements , compliance regulations, and auditing processes.
  • Knowledge of Safer Recruitment practices is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working within or alongside the NHS in highly regulated healthcare environments.
  • Familiarity with systems such as TRAC or iTrent would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of HPAN checks would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills .
  • Strong communication and experience supporting or leading teams through a CQC inspection is desirable but not essential
