We are currently recruiting for Commercial Analysts to support key commercial activity across the Digital Data & Technology (DDaT) and Corporate & Professional Services (CaPS) pillars.

Contract:

• Location: Kilburn Police Station (NW6)
• Payrate: £265 per day Umbrella
• Working arrangements: This role is based 3 days per week at Kilburn Police Station, with occasional travel across the wider Met estate as required.
• Vetting: CTC vetting - You must be able to undergo vetting and have lived and worked in the UK for the past and most recent 5 years

The Role

As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting commercial colleagues across sourcing, procurement, contract management, supplier management, and commercial analysis activities. Working alongside experienced commercial professionals, you will help deliver value for money, ensure compliance, and support strategic commercial decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing administrative and operational support across commercial projects and business-as-usual activity.
• Supporting sourcing and procurement exercises, including market engagement and evaluating procurement routes.
• Assisting with contract and supplier management activities, monitoring supplier performance, and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Helping develop category strategies and ensuring contract compliance.
• Maintaining commercial catalogues and records within commercial systems.
• Producing spend analysis and commercial reporting to identify efficiency, value-for-money, and improvement opportunities.
• Providing commercial support and guidance to internal stakeholders across the business.
• Supporting the delivery of innovative commercial solutions that meet operational requirements.

About You

• Experience within public sector procurement or commercial environments would be beneficial, but is not essential.
