Commercial Analyst
A public sector organisation is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join their award-winning Commercial Services team. You'll gain hands-on experience across the commercial lifecycle while contributing to projects that help make London the safest global city. About the Role As a Commercial Analyst, you'll support senior commercial professionals in delivering sourcing, procurement, category management and contract management activities across a range of strategic projects and business areas. This is an initial contract for 12-months based in Kilburn (3 days per week onsite), with a daily rate of £265 per day via an Umbrella company (inside IR35).
Key Responsibilities You will support commercial colleagues across the full commercial lifecycle by: Commercial & Procurement Support Assisting with sourcing and procurement activities from market engagement through to contract award. Supporting tender processes, evaluations and negotiations. Maintaining procurement documentation and records. Assisting with commercial compliance and governance activities. Category & Supplier Management Supporting the development and implementation of category strategies. Monitoring supplier performance and contractual obligations. Assisting with contract administration and supplier relationship management. Helping identify opportunities for innovation, efficiencies and value for money. Stakeholder Management Providing commercial support and guidance to internal stakeholders. Building effective working relationships across business areas. Supporting senior commercial colleagues in meetings and project activities. Data Analysis & Reporting Analysing commercial and procurement data. Identifying spend trends, savings opportunities and efficiency improvements. Supporting reporting and commercial performance monitoring. Maintaining commercial systems and catalogues.
