KS4 Class Teacher (English & Maths) Special School & College, Bexhill-on-Sea Full Time | Immediate Start Available Potential for Permanent Appointment Seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS4 Class Teacher to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs in a specialist school environment. The Role You will be responsible for teaching a KS4 class, delivering English and Maths to students working at a primary learning level. The role will also include teaching RE/Futures to KS3 pupils, again with teaching adapted to meet primary-level learning needs. RE: Immediately available - SEN Teacher - Science, English & General cover The successful candidate will: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs. Support students with a range of SEN, including learning difficulties, autism and associated additional needs. Create a positive, nurturing, and structured learning environment. Work closely with teaching assistants, pastoral staff and families to promote student progress and wellbeing. Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal development. About You We are looking for a teacher who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Has experience teaching either Primary, Secondary or SEN students. Is confident adapting lessons for learners working below age-related expectations. Demonstrates excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills. Has a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs to achieve their potential.
