I am currently recruiting for Children residential Support workers for 2 EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) homes1 LD (Learning Disabilities) homes based in Maidstone.
Shift Patterns
- Day Shift: 8:00am to 8:30pm
- Waking Night Shift: 8:30pm to 8:00am
About the Role
You will be supporting children and young people within residential care settings, helping to provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment. We are looking for experienced and committed staff who can work flexibly across EBD and LD services.
Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience within Children's Residential Care
- Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Experience supporting young people with exploitation concerns
- Ability to work within 2:1 and 3:1 staffing ratios
- Experience supporting children subject to DoLS arrangements is highly desirable
- Team Teach training is desirable and may be required for some placements
Working Pattern
- Flexible work available Monday to Sunday2 on / 2 off rota pattern
- All staff expected to work weekends as part of a flexible rota
- Approximately 6 staff required each week
- Some homes can accommodate 4 to 5 staff members on a pre-planned rota
- Regular ongoing shifts available
