Chef Required - Sevenoaks, Kent
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Chef to join a friendly catering team at a prestigious educational setting in Sevenoaks, Kent.
This opportunity will begin with trial shifts, with the potential for ongoing work through to Christmas for the successful candidate.
Job Details
Position: Chef Location: Sevenoaks, Kent (TN13 area) Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour Hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm Start Date: Trial shift on the 3rd and 4th November 2026 Finish Date: 11th December 2026
Responsibilities
- Supporting the catering team with daily food preparation and service
- Working alongside the Chef de Partie and wider kitchen brigade
- Assisting across various kitchen sections as required
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
- Contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen
Requirements
- Previous chef experience within a professional kitchen
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
- Full chef's uniform, including safety shoes
- Valid DBS certificate
- Photographic ID
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
