Carpentry Lecturer

Annual Salary: Up to £43,267.53 Location: Surrey Job Type: Full-time (37 hours per week, employed for 52 weeks per year)

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver high-quality vocational programmes ranging from Level 1 introductory qualifications to Level 3.
• Teach a variety of courses related to carpentry, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences.
• Assess, review, and record learner progress, providing timely feedback to enhance their educational journey.
• Maintain accurate course and learner records in compliance with college standards.
• Embed essential employment skills into the curriculum to prepare students for real-world challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree/HND in Carpentry or related field, or relevant professional qualifications coupled with strong industry experience.
• Teaching qualifications are advantageous, or a willingness to work towards gaining these qualifications with our support.
• Open to recent graduates and individuals seeking a career change into education.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in IT.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
