Hourly Rate: £40 Location: North London, Job Type: Part-time (3 days per week) Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a qualified BSL Signer to join our team at a further education college in North London. This role involves providing essential communication support to students aged 16-19 who require signing to enhance their educational experience.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide BSL signing for lectures, events, and other educational activities.
• Work closely with students to ensure they understand and engage with the curriculum.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt educational materials into sign language to support student learning.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required to stay updated on educational content and signing techniques.
• Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity towards students' educational needs and personal information.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in British Sign Language (BSL).
• Experience working with young adults or in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
