Charity Support Worker

Hourly Rate: £14 Location: Wimbledon Job Type: Temporary (2 weeks, Monday to Friday) Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to support a charity that has been making a significant impact for 90 years. This temporary role involves engaging with the community by handing out free coupons to local commuters at the Wimbledon station. These coupons are for complimentary coffee, aimed at raising awareness and support for the charity.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Distribute free coffee coupons to commuters passing through Wimbledon station.
• Engage with the public in a friendly and informative manner, representing the charity positively.
• Answer any queries from the public about the charity and its initiatives.
• Set up and manage the distribution stand ensuring it is tidy and well-organised throughout the day.
• Collect feedback from interactions and report back on the public’s response to the campaign.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with the public.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Experience in promotional activities or public engagement is beneficial but not essential.
