Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Stores & Workshop Apprentice to join their team in Redhill.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to gain real-world experience while working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists.

The Opportunity

As a Stores & Workshop Apprentice, you'll support both the workshop and stores functions, helping ensure engineering projects, repairs and customer deliveries run smoothly.

You'll gain exposure to engineering processes, inventory management, equipment preparation and technical workshop activities whilst completing your apprenticeship programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with day-to-day workshop activities
• Supporting stores and inventory management processes
• Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries
• Picking, packing and shipping equipment
• Preparing equipment for engineering activities and customer deployments
• Maintaining accurate stock records and documentation
• Supporting engineers with workshop assembly and repair activities
• Ensuring work areas remain organised, safe and efficient
• Learning technical processes and engineering best practice

What We're Looking For

• A genuine interest in engineering, electronics or technology
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good organisational skills
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Basic IT skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
• Motivation to complete an apprenticeship programme

Desirable Experience

• Previous warehouse, stores or workshop experience
• Interest in electronics or engineering
• Experience using stock or inventory systems
• Experience working in a technical or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of health and safety practices
