Your tasks
Join our team as a 7.5t Driver, a vital role responsible for the efficient collection and delivery of medical equipment to hospitals and healthcare services across Southampton and Hampshire. This position is crucial in ensuring that vital medical supplies reach their destinations safely and on time.
Day-to-day of the role
- Drive a 7.5t vehicle and company vans, depending on operational needs.
- Collect and deliver a range of medical equipment across Southampton and Hampshire.
- Ensure timely, safe, and professional service at all times.
- Complete all relevant delivery paperwork and adhere to company procedures.
- Load and unload equipment; occasional lifting of up to 12kg is required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and report any vehicle issues.
Requirements
*Required Skills & Qualifications*
- A valid clean UK driving licence with 7.5t entitlement.
- Previous experience in delivery/collection roles is desirable.
- Comfortable with early starts.
- Valid CPC card.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Reliable, physically capable, and committed to high service standards.
