Senior Interior Designer

Job Description

Lead the development of design concepts, space planning and design proposals for the company's showroom, material displays and corporate office solutions.

Take ownership of projects from concept development through detailed design, material selection and implementation.

Prepare and review mood boards, material palettes, 2D drawings, 3D visualisations, renderings and technical drawings.

Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture and workplace solutions, balancing aesthetics, functionality and buildability.

Research and introduce new materials, products and design solutions to strengthen the company's design offering.

Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams to develop solutions and resolve design and technical matters.

Review design deliverables and provide guidance to junior designers to maintain design quality and consistency.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate office, workplace, commercial or interior fit-out design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, space planning, material selection and technical detailing.
• Strong understanding of interior construction, materials, finishes, furniture systems and buildability.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant 3D visualisation/rendering software; Revit would be an advantage.
• Strong design sensibility, attention to detail and ability to independently manage multiple design priorities.
