IT Business Analyst (m/f/d)

What awaits you As an IT Business Analyst with a focus on Finance / Insurance, you will act as a central interface between IT, Finance, Insurance teams, and Business teams. The role encompasses both finance-related topics as well as other business areas. You are part of the IT team and work closely with Business and Finance stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement IT solutions in an international environment. Your first big project: the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in the Finance area for the region. The position is to be filled full-time at the location in München or Rostock.

Your main tasks

• Perform functional analyses and create functional designs
• Analyze and optimize business and finance processes
• Translate business requirements into IT solutions
• Participate in ERP initiatives, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Perform database queries, e.g., with SQL or BI tools
• Work closely with IT teams during delivery and implementation
• Act as a trusted point of contact for Business and Finance stakeholders

What you bring with you

• At least 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst / IT Analyst
• Sound ERP knowledge, ideally in Business Central
• Experience with B2C and B2B insurance or contracting tools
• Experience in functional analysis and solution design
• Strong knowledge in data queries and reporting
• Very analytical way of working with strong critical thinking skills
• Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage
• Languages: English required; German, Dutch, or French an advantage – trilingual preferred

For this full-time position, the salary range, depending on professional experience and qualification, is 80,000 to 90,000 Euro per year full-time.
