Senior MEP Project Manager

Your tasks

We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to lead and oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing projects within our dynamic construction team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex MEP projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and budget adherence. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage MEP projects ensuring compliance with all technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. - Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to plan project schedules, resources, and budgets effectively. - Oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning of MEP systems, resolving any technical issues promptly. - Monitor project progress, prepare regular reports, and conduct site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards. - Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. - Implement risk management strategies to anticipate and mitigate project challenges. - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices. - Mentor and guide junior engineers and project team members to foster professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field; PMP certification preferred. - Minimum 15 to 20 years of experience in MEP project management within the construction industry, preferably in large-scale projects. - Preferably past 7 years in the UAE - Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. - Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively under pressure. - Familiarity with UAE construction standards, regulations, and safety codes. - Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
