Mid-Level Cloud Security Consultant

You will be responsible for the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity solutions aimed at protecting endpoints, data, identities, and mobile devices, focusing on the Microsoft 365 suite tools. You will work on EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) fronts, protection and classification of sensitive information, as well as device management through Microsoft Intune.

Responsibilities and duties

Your main activities:

• Implement and manage EDR and XDR solutions using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, ensuring effective threat detection and response;
• Administer and optimize Microsoft Intune to manage mobile devices and desktops, applying security policies, patch management, and access control;
• Create and maintain classification, protection, and data loss prevention (DLP) policies, using Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) and Azure Information Protection (AIP) to ensure compliance with standards and data security;
• Develop and manage conditional access policies and multi-factor authentication (MFA) within Entra ID, ensuring identity control and security;
• Collaborate with the IT and security team to implement threat protection solutions using Microsoft Defender for Office 365, protecting the environment against phishing, malware, and other cyberattacks;
• Continuously monitor security and data protection policies in the Microsoft 365 environment, adjusting as necessary to ensure maximum protection;
• Ensure that all implemented solutions comply with security regulations and standards.

Requirements and qualifications

We expect you to have:

• Completed Higher Education in Information Security, Cyber Defense, IT Management, or related fields;
• Solid experience in Microsoft 365 security and administration, with mastery of tools such as Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Intune, and Azure Information Protection;
• Solid knowledge in data protection and DLP solutions integrated with Microsoft 365;
• Experience with mobile device management and security policies via Microsoft Intune;
• Proficiency in Entra ID and security policies for identities and access (IAM);
• Ability to manage advanced threat protection in emails and files with Defender for Office 365;
• Experience with auditing and compliance in Microsoft 365, ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards;
• Intermediate English (writing and reading).

It will be a differentiator if you also have:

• Certifications in Microsoft Cloud;
• Experience with Microsoft Cloud products (M365 and Azure).
