As an R&D Concept Creator, you are part of the R&D team and literally give shape to designers' ideas. You build, test, and improve prototypes until the solution is perfect.

You contribute ideas regarding the best approach, choose the right materials and techniques, and above all, love to roll up your sleeves. One time you are working on a quick test, the next time on a prototype that is almost ready for production.

Your role as R&D Concept Creator:

• You transform ideas into working prototypes.
• You choose the right materials, techniques, and production methods.
• You collaborate with designers on feasibility, material choice, and quality.
• You build and perform mechanical and electromechanical tests.
• You investigate why something is not working and devise solutions.
• You work hands-on with machines such as CNC and welding installations.
• You check the quality and accuracy of your prototypes.
• You read technical drawings and work with digital tools.
• You build test setups and demonstrators.
• You contribute ideas on how we can further improve processes, techniques, and tools.

Your profile as R&D Concept Creator:

• You obtained a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience.
• You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in prototyping, product development, or a technical environment.
• You have knowledge of machining and other production techniques.
• You are technically strong, creative, and think in solutions.
• You work accurately and in a structured manner.
• You can read technical drawings and work fluently with digital tools.
• You are eager to learn and open to new techniques.
• You work independently, but are also a true team player.
• You speak fluent English.
