Procurement Manager

As Procurement Manager, you play a key role within an international production environment. You are responsible for developing and implementing strategic purchasing initiatives that ensure a reliable, qualitative, and cost-efficient supply of materials, components, and services. You work closely with various internal stakeholders and build sustainable relationships with suppliers worldwide.

• Developing and executing purchasing strategies for raw materials, technical components, and services.
• Managing and further expanding relationships with strategic international suppliers.
• Negotiating commercial agreements and contract terms.
• Identifying, evaluating, and qualifying new suppliers.
• Monitoring market developments, price fluctuations, and supply risks.
• Monitoring supplier performance and addressing delivery or quality issues.
• Reporting purchasing results, KPIs, and market insights to management.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and internal guidelines.
• Master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent through experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing, sourcing, or procurement.
• Experience within an industrial or production environment is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Good knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and international purchasing processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and purchasing tools.
• Fluent knowledge of English - knowledge of French and/or German is an extra asset.
• Willingness to travel internationally when necessary.
• Strong analytical ability and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders at different levels.
• Result-oriented, pragmatic, and hands-on attitude.
• Sense of initiative and the ability to critically evaluate and improve existing processes.
