Forklift Operator/Loading and Unloading

Job Summary

You will coordinate and move palletised cargo using MHE/forklift, manage unpacking and packing of cartons, liaise with customer operations, assign deliveries, plan efficient routes, and monitor drivers to ensure timely and smooth delivery operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE/forklift to move and coordinate palletised cargo safely and efficiently
• Unpack and pack palletised cartons accurately to prepare for delivery
• Liaise with customer operations to manage and streamline the flow of operations
• Input data and assign deliveries and collections to drivers for effective dispatch
• Ensure all delivery requirements are fulfilled to meet customer expectations
• Plan delivery routes to optimize time and improve turnaround rates
• Monitor drivers during delivery to identify and manage obstacles promptly

• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in handling cargo and data input
• Maintain physical fitness to perform manual handling and operational tasks
• Communicate clearly to coordinate with team members and customers

Other Information

Job Benefits:

• Salary ranging from $2200-$2800
• Overtime paid on an hourly basis
• Sunday or Public Holiday work paid at $120/day

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm
• Saturday, 8am to 1pm
