Pool Lifeguard

Part-Time School Swimming Pool Lifeguard

We are looking for responsible lifeguards to support swimming activities, potentially at a school near Caldecott MRT or Depot Road.

Purpose

Help create a safe and positive environment where students can learn, build water confidence and enjoy swimming.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday:

• Morning: 6:30am–11:40am
• Afternoon: 1:20pm–5:30pm

Candidates may indicate their availability for either or both shifts. Actual working days, hours and location will depend on the school timetable and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and maintain active surveillance of the pool
• Enforce safety rules and conduct student headcounts
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when required
• Check the pool area and safety equipment for hazards
• Support teachers and coaches during swimming activities
• Report incidents and safety concerns

Requirements

• Valid Bronze Medallion
• Valid Standard First Aid, CPR and AED certifications
• Alert, responsible, punctual and physically fit
• Comfortable working with children
• Clear and professional communication
• Lifeguarding or school-based experience is advantageous

Rate: $20/hr
