Junior Logistics Manager

We are looking for a person for the position of Junior Logistics Manager to join the Operations team. This person will be responsible for managing the national supply chain, cooperating with logistics partners, and ensuring the highest level of customer service and quality of logistics processes.
The position includes both operational management and initiating improvement actions that support business development and cost efficiency.
Logistics: Managing logistics processes from logistics operators to end customers throughout the entire country. Planning and optimizing logistics capacity and the resources necessary to fulfill deliveries. Monitoring and developing the logistics network in response to business needs and changing sales volumes. Managing cooperation with logistics operators (3PL), supervising the implementation of contracts, SLA, and KPI. Responsibility for the logistics budget, cost control, and implementing optimization and savings initiatives. Conducting logistics tenders, market benchmarking, and negotiations with service providers. Supervising inventory levels, reconciling stock levels, and managing logistics carriers. Ensuring compliance of transport and warehouse processes with quality and regulatory requirements. Data analysis, monitoring performance indicators, and preparing improvement recommendations. Standardization and automation of logistics processes using IT tools and the SAP system. Cooperation with Planning, Purchasing, Sales departments, and business partners to ensure the highest level of service and product availability. Managing the logistics team, developing employee competencies, and building a culture of continuous improvement. Processes and Systems: Monitoring the operation of EDI, TM, and SAP systems. Supporting internal and external audits. Maintaining the integrity of systems and databases. Documenting and updating local processes. Standardization of reporting.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of logistics, planning, or operations in an international environment. Very good knowledge of the logistics services market and experience in cooperating with multiple logistics operators. Experience in managing budgets, optimization projects, and tender processes. Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on business indicators. Negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term business relationships. Knowledge of MS Office tools (especially Excel) and ERP systems; knowledge of SAP will be an additional asset. Ability to manage a team and effectively implement changes. Very good knowledge of the English language.
