Senior Quality Engineering

Objective: Represent the customer within the organization, ensuring compliance with their requirements and quality standards, through the monitoring of indicators, problem resolution, audits, and improvement actions.

Functions:

• Represent the customer within the organization
• Satisfy customer requirements and expectations
• Balance internal performance indicators with those of the customer by guaranteeing the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Comply with the occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines established by the company
• Have the authority to stop production when conditions may lead to a non-conforming product (after notifying the supervisor or line leader)
• Coordinate the CEPS team. Exercise authority to stop unsafe acts and work performed under conditions that could cause injuries affecting the integrity of people in the area.
• Contribute to the compliance of the Health and Safety Management System, its policy, and the objectives of the accident reduction plan.
• Review with management that the Integrated Management System requirements are addressed, analyzed, and executed.
• Guarantee the effectiveness and efficiency of the system for customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Academic background: Engineering

• Specialty: Industrial, chemical, administrative, or related
• Certifications and professional registrations: Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving tools, IATF 14949 desirable
• Language requirements: advanced English
• Availability to travel: Yes
• 5 years of experience in the automotive and/or metalworking industry
• Quality systems for the automotive industry
• Personnel supervision
• Implementation of quality systems.
