Sales Director Northern Europe (M/F)
Main Mission
Within a company specializing in the design of connected sensors and IoT solutions dedicated to the BTP sector and construction sites, you are responsible for the commercial development and growth of the business in Northern Europe.
As a true ambassador for the company in your zone, you define and deploy the commercial strategy, develop strategic accounts, and identify new growth opportunities, drawing on your solid knowledge of the BTP sector and Northern European markets.
Main Responsibilities
- Definition and deployment of the commercial strategy
Develop and implement the commercial development strategy across the entire Northern Europe zone, identifying growth levers and development opportunities.
- Market development
Develop turnover, win new customers and partners, and strengthen the company's presence in the various markets of the zone.
- Commercial performance management
Define objectives, monitor KPIs, analyze results, and implement the action plans necessary to achieve commercial objectives.
- Key Account development and management
Identify, develop, and retain a portfolio of strategic clients: large BTP groups, construction companies, equipment rental companies, distributors, and industrial players.
- Negotiation and contracting
Lead complex and international commercial negotiations, build offers, and secure contracts with a focus on the sustainable development of partnerships.
- Financial management of the zone
Participate in P&L management, monitor profitability, optimize margins, and contribute to the definition of pricing policy.
- Market analysis and competitive intelligence
Monitor developments in the BTP sector, market trends, regulatory and technological evolutions, as well as competitor positioning.
- Company representation
Represent the company to clients, partners, and industry players, notably during trade fairs, international events, and client meetings.
Frequent travel to be expected: approximately 45% of the time.
Profile sought:
Education & experience
- Master's degree, business school, engineering school, or equivalent training.
- 10 years of experience in international commercial development, with significant experience in BTP.
Essential prerequisites
- Significant experience in the BTP sector, ideally with construction companies, key accounts, or distributors of equipment and solutions dedicated to construction sites.
- Very good knowledge of Northern European markets and successful commercial experience in this zone.
- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
Skills and qualities
- Proven experience in international commercial development, ideally in complex and long-cycle sales.
- Strong skills in negotiation and strategic account management.
- Ability to define a commercial strategy, develop a market, and manage an activity with high autonomy.
- Experience in commercial performance management and, ideally, P&L management.
- Strong business and results orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, ability to influence, and ease in an international environment.
- Experience in IoT solutions, construction equipment, industrial technologies, or technical solutions is a real asset.
