Our client is MNC in the Semiconductor manufacturing Industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Software Engineer to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central – easily accessible.

Your tasks

About The Role: We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to support the development, testing, and improvement of embedded software for electronic products. The role involves firmware development, system integration, product validation, and technical support during prototyping and production.

Key Responsibilities for Software Engineer

• Participate in product planning, requirements analysis, and technical discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Develop, test, and maintain embedded software for electronic control systems.
• Support firmware verification, system integration, and product performance testing.
• Develop automated test programs and support prototype evaluation and production trials.
• Troubleshoot firmware, hardware interface, and communication-related issues.
• Work closely with hardware and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and improve product performance.
• Evaluate new technologies and contribute to product enhancements and cost optimisation.
• Maintain software documentation, conduct code reviews, and support software quality activities.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support team development.
• Assist with product qualification, release activities, and ongoing production support.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Min 5 years of relevant experience in firmware development or embedded systems engineering.
• Experience in embedded C/C++ or other firmware programming languages.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, digital control systems, and electronic circuit fundamentals.
• Experience in firmware debugging, system integration, and software testing.
