About the Role We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI solutions that address complex supply chain and retail challenges. This role combines AI/ML engineering with strong software development and deployment expertise, enabling the successful delivery of production-ready solutions. You will play a key role in shaping technical architecture, driving engineering best practices, and mentoring team members within a high-performing engineering environment.

Important: This position focuses on predictive and optimization-based AI applications, such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, replenishment planning, and supply chain analytics. It is best suited for engineers experienced in traditional AI/ML solutions rather than those whose primary expertise lies in ChatGPT, LLMs, NLP, RAG, chatbots, or Generative AI applications.

Design, develop, and maintain modular, scalable, and production-ready applications deployable across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises environments.

Enhance and re-architect existing systems to transform complex business and retail requirements into reusable, scalable software components.

Build and deploy AI-powered solutions that integrate machine learning models into robust business applications.

Establish and improve software engineering, MLOps, and DevOps practices, including CI/CD workflows, architecture standards, testing frameworks, and deployment processes.

Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and promote engineering excellence across the team.

Ensure solutions meet high standards of performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience in AI/ML Engineering or Software Engineering, with a strong track record of building and deploying production systems.

Hands-on experience deploying applications in cloud and on-premise environments using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.

Familiarity with orchestration and workflow tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Ray is advantageous.

Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) on at least one major cloud platform.

Strong background in software architecture, microservices, API development, and distributed systems design.

Testing frameworks such as PyTest Prior experience in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, supply chain analytics, retail AI, or operations research will be highly preferred.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research, or a related discipline.

Ideal Candidate Profile This opportunity is ideal for an AI/ML Engineer who has built forecasting, predictive analytics, optimization, and supply-chain-focused machine learning solutions, with strong software engineering and deployment capabilities.

Candidates whose experience is primarily centered on Generative AI, ChatGPT, LLMs, NLP, prompt engineering, or chatbot development may find the role less aligned with their core expertise.
