Manufacturing Engineer (contract manufacturing) - VTAL

About the company

Our client is one of the leading players in the Contract Manufacturing sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to be part of their Procurement team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East.

Your tasks

Responsibilities of Manufacturing Engineer

• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for both new and existing products, ensuring proper documentation and implementation.
• Create, update, and maintain mFlow, Process Control Plans (PCP), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (pFMEA), and Work Instructions (WI).
• Initiate and raise Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) when necessary.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and process reliability.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Procurement, BDG, Planning, Purchasing, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure smooth engineering and manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience using manufacturing tools and equipment.
• Experience in equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical problem-solving.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, and CAPA.
