Field Service Manager ( Semiconductor ) JN

Job Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and Team Leaders to ensure efficient service operations across Southeast Asia.

Conduct regular meetings with the FSE team and customers to align service expectations, review performance, and address operational issues.

Plan, coordinate, and monitor equipment installations through to successful customer acceptance.

Manage customer escalations, prioritize service activities, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

Identify root causes of complex technical problems and collaborate closely with the headquarters engineering team to implement effective solutions.

Prepare quarterly and annual forecasts for spare parts demand and service revenue across the Southeast Asia region.

Prepare service quotations and follow up on purchase orders for service agreements, labor charges, and spare parts sales.

Maintain and periodically review spare parts inventory levels and pricing to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness.

Oversee FSE job reporting, service scheduling, travel planning, and performance management.

Maintain accurate records of customer warranties, Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), and spare parts inventory.

Monitor field service performance, identify skill gaps, and develop training programs to enhance the technical capabilities of the service team.

Travel as required to provide hands-on onsite support for critical technical and application issues, working closely with customers to ensure timely resolution and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.

Must have working experience with Semiconductor Inspection Equipment, with 5–7 years of relevant experience.
