Assistant Microbiologist (Entry Level) Medical Devices - VTAL

About the company

Our client is one of the leading players in the Medical Industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Microbiologist to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West (Tuas) – easily accessible.

Your tasks

Key Responsibilities for Assistant Microbiologist

• Perform and supervise microbiological testing, including sterility, bioburden, microbialcount,particulate count, endotoxin testing and environmental monitoring.
• Supervise and train QC Technicians on laboratory procedures and microbiological testing.
• Oversee environmental monitoring and sterility assurance to prevent contamination.
• Investigate OOS results and environmental excursions, identify root causes and implement CAPA.
• Support equipment, test method, aseptic process and sterilisation validation.
• Review and maintain SOPs and quality documentation in compliance with ISO standardsandregulatory requirements.
• Support audits, regulatory inspections, change controls, product registration andcontinuousQMS improvement.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Life Science, Microbiology or related field
• Relevant experience in Micro Lab is Bonus
• Entry level position as training will be provided
