Facilities Engineer
Recruit4staff are representing a leading food manufacturing business in their search for a Facilities Engineer to work in Stonehouse
Job Details:
- Pay: £52,000 per annum DOE, plus annual bonus
- Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off, 7:00am – 7:00pm (days only)
- Duration: Permanent

Job Role:
The Facilities Engineer will carry out electrical maintenance and repairs across the site, including lighting, sockets and basic fault finding activities. The Facilities Engineer will support planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks while maintaining and monitoring critical utilities equipment including boilers, compressors and cooling systems. Duties will also include general building maintenance, contractor control, permit to work compliance, Legionella management and ensuring high standards of site safety and water hygiene throughout the facility.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification within a Mechanical or Electrical discipline
- Experience working as a Facilities Engineer or within building services, facilities management or site maintenance environments
- Utilities, Boiler, Refrigeration, Water Systems, PSSR and LOLER experience essential
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and decorating skills
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience across electrical and general maintenance disciplines
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
