Your tasks
- Perform eye refraction and take the necessary measurements using relevant optical tools and equipment.
- Recommend suitable optical aids and eyewear based on customers' visual needs and assessment findings.
- Troubleshoot, adjust, and ensure the proper fitting of spectacles and ophthalmic lenses.
- Maintain accurate customer eye health records and historical purchase information.
- Provide professional customer service and assist customers with their optical needs.
Requirements
- Minimum Advanced Certificate of Performance in Ophthalmic Dispensing and Refraction or NITEC in Opticianry.
- Must be eligible for registration with the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB) or already registered.
- Previous retail experience will be an advantage.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work in a retail environment and adapt to different outlet locations.
What we offer
- Up till $3,000 – S$3,800 per month + Comm + Variable bonus (after 1 year of service)
- Work Location: Various outlets across Singapore
- Work time: 5 days per week, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM, depending on outlet location
