Equity Analyst (Equity Research & Financial Modelling)

Company brief: Our client is a Singapore company looking for an Equity Analyst to research listed companies and support its investment strategies.
Your tasks
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive fundamental research on listed companies, industries and equity markets
- Analyse financial statements, earnings reports and key financial indicators
- Build financial models and value companies using DCF and comparable company analysis
- Monitor market movements, economic and industry trends and corporate announcements
- Identify investment opportunities, assess risks and generate high-conviction investment ideas
- Prepare equity research reports, forecasts and investment recommendations
- Present research findings and investment insights to management, clients or investment teams
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, financial modelling or securities analysis
- Proven ability to do deep-dive fundamental research on listed companies and build robust financial models
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methods and capital markets
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
- CFA (or progress towards it) an advantage
What we offer
- Salary: Up to $6,000 basic + Variable Bonus
- Day/timings: 5 days, Mon-Fri 9:30AM-6:30PM
- Location: Singapore
