Research Nurse

Your tasks

We are seeking an experienced Nurse to support patient care and clinical research activities within a Clinical Research Unit.

Requirements

• Provide nursing care and support to patients participating in clinical research studies.
• Perform clinical monitoring and observations, recognise changes in patients’ conditions and escalate concerns promptly.
• Perform venipuncture and cannulation.
• Assist doctors and the research team with study procedures in accordance with approved protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following study protocols and unit SOPs.
• Respond to medical emergencies, including Code Blue situations, in accordance with unit protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and study-related documentation.
• Comply with applicable clinical trial guidelines, patient safety requirements and unit SOPs.
• Coordinate with the clinical and research teams to support safe and efficient patient flow.

Requirements

• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
• At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Competent in venipuncture and cannulation.
• Able to recognise clinical deterioration and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
• Able to work morning and afternoon shifts.
• Hospital nursing experience in wards, A&E, ICU or a similar setting is preferred.
