Process Technician (Chemical Engineering)

Salary: Up to $2,700 Location: Tuas Working Hours: Rotating 12-hour shifts (8am–8pm / 8pm–8am) or 5.5-day work week Company Transport: Provided

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate waste treatment and incineration processes to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and monitor process parameters to identify abnormalities.
• Operate and monitor plant equipment, including forklifts and cranes, for waste and material handling.
• Monitor waste, sludge, wastewater and other material levels and perform replenishment or adjustments as required.
• Record plant operating parameters and maintain accurate daily operation and production reports.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and promptly report equipment or process abnormalities to the Supervisor/Team Leader.
• Ensure incineration and waste treatment processes operate within the required parameters and standards.
• Comply with all EHS policies, safety procedures and operational requirements at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Prior working experience in manufacturing, engineering or a process plant environment .
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment and performing hands-on operational duties.
• Responsible, safety-conscious and able to work well in a team.
