Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot plant operations and perform 2-hour equipment checks using the “Field Operation Checklist,” promptly reporting any abnormalities
• To check the oil sludge hopper level from time to time
• Using Forklift to top up oil sludge bin
• Operate a forklift for clearing fly ash bins and slag containers, as well as topping up sand for the fluidizing bed incinerator
• Strictly abide on EHS policies and regulations at all times
• Operate the crane to top up oil sludge into the hopper
• Record plant operation parameters to monitor plant health performance
• To ensure the incinerator parameters is in good operating condition
• Regulate liquid waste treatment capacity as required, while monitoring wastewater and waste solvent tank levels and informing the Supervisor/Team Leader when levels reach low thresholds
• Compile and review daily operation reports
• Communicate effectively with staff to support safe plant operations and identify any safety lapses in routine tasks

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec in Mechanical/ Electrical or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Oil & Chemistry industry
