MECHANICAL ENGINEER – ACMV

Project: New Project Work Week: 5 days, with Saturday support when required Job Responsibilities Interpret project specifications, drawings and client requirements. Prepare method statements, shop drawings and inspection checklists. Carry out ACMV performance and static-pressure calculations. Assist with selection and sizing of FCUs and AHUs. Assist with ductwork and chilled-water pipe sizing. Perform calculations relating to kitchen exhaust and staircase pressurisation. Coordinate ACMV installation works with architectural, electrical and plumbing teams. Prepare technical submissions for Variation Orders, damage claims and abortive works. Assist with testing, balancing and commissioning activities. Support preparation of as-built drawings. Coordinate with clients, contractors and project stakeholders. Requirements ITE / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of HVAC / ACMV systems will be advantageous. Understanding of FCU, AHU, ductwork and chilled-water systems preferred. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently and coordinate with project teams.
