Utility Engineer | Critical GMP Utilities & Water Systems #HDC1

Drive Reliability, Compliance & Performance Across Critical Utilities Are you an experienced engineer with strong hands-on expertise in  RO, WFI, clean steam and GMP-regulated utility systems ? Join an engineering team supporting critical utility infrastructure within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. In this role, you will take ownership of key utility systems, lead technical investigations and change controls, and support engineering initiatives that enhance  reliability, compliance and operational performance . Working closely with Engineering, Operations and cross-functional stakeholders, you will play an important role in keeping critical utilities robust, controlled and fit for manufacturing needs. What You’ll Be Responsible For Provide engineering oversight and technical support for critical utilities, including  Reverse Osmosis (RO), Water for Injection (WFI), clean steam and associated clean utility systems .

Take ownership of utility-related  change controls , covering system installation, modification, enhancement and upgrades.

Oversee the operation, maintenance, reliability and performance of critical utility equipment.

Lead and support investigations into utility deviations and events using  TrackWise , ensuring appropriate documentation and timely completion of follow-up actions.

Conduct troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for equipment failures, system abnormalities and operational issues.

Work with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Support utility engineering projects from planning through implementation, ensuring technical specifications and GMP requirements are met.

Identify opportunities to improve  system reliability, efficiency, performance and compliance .

Ensure critical utility systems remain in a state of control and aligned with engineering standards and regulatory expectations.

What We’re Looking For Degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline.

4–10 years of relevant engineering experience  in utilities, facilities, manufacturing or a related environment.

Hands-on experience with  Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems is essential .

Practical knowledge of  WFI, clean steam and other critical/clean utility systems .

Strong understanding of utility equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and reliability.

Prior experience in a  GMP-regulated environment is essential ; pharmaceutical industry experience is not mandatory.

Strong analytical and root-cause investigation capabilities.

Experience managing technical investigations, change controls and engineering projects independently.

Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
