Hospice Setting Inpatient Ward Setting Nursing Home Setting Adhoc Healthscreening Patient Personal Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting, and changing bed linen. [1, 2, 3] Mobility & Handling: Help patients transfer in and out of beds, use wheelchairs, or move around the ward, including using lifting equipment/hoists safely. Vital Signs & Monitoring: Take and record basic physiological measurements such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, respiration, and weight. Clinical & Ward Support: Assist with meal distribution/feeding, collecting specimens or samples, preparing treatment areas, and sterilizing or organizing medical equipment. Update basic patient care records, handle portering coordination, and relay important changes in a patient's condition to the nurse in charge Requirements: Relevant HCA or healthcare experience advantageous (Clinic Assistant, PSA, BCA), open to student nurses looking for locum!
