Looking for a short-term role to earn extra cash during this holiday season? Join the hospital team as a Temporary Runner and support the transportation of surgical instrument sets between the Operating Theatre (OT) Department and designated collection point!

Job Responsibilities

• Transport used Operating Theatre (OT) instrument sets from the department to the designated lorry collection point.
• Collect sterilised instrument sets from the lorry upon their return and transport them back to the OT Department.
• Ensure instrument sets are handled and transported safely using the provided trolley.
• Perform collection and transportation runs at approximately 2–3 hour intervals throughout the day.
• Assist with other related runner / logistical duties when required.
• Follow hospital safety and operational procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE N/O or A Level
• Comfortable pushing a loaded trolley weighing approximately 60–80kg.
• Able to handle and transport items carefully and safely.
• Responsible, punctual and able to follow instructions
