Job Summary

The Account Executive cum Payroll Executive is responsible for managingthe company's accounting functions and payroll administration. This roleensures accurate financial records, timely payroll processing, compliance withstatutory requirements, and efficient support of the Finance and HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Functions

  • Handle full set or partial set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
  • Process supplier invoices, payments, staff claims, and petty cash transactions.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Prepare financial reports and management accounts as required.
  • Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents.

Payroll Administration

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and within established timelines.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including salary adjustments, allowances, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Calculate payroll-related payments in compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
  • Handle payroll submissions and statutory contributions such as CPF, IR8A, IR21, NS claim and Government-paid claims submission promptly.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding salary, deductions, and payroll matters while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ensure payroll records are accurate and comply with employment laws and company policies.

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
  • Assist in tax filings, SST/GST submissions, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records
  • Undertake ad hoc duties and special projects assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and payroll administration.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized
  • Able to work independently or under minimal guidance
  • Able to start immediately

Reports to: Finance Manager

Salary Remuneration : SGD$3800 - $4500
