System Analyst ( Healthcare) - 1 Year Contract - HDT

Your tasks

• To act as the business and system analyst for the NEHR and HIA programme, ensuring that laboratory workflows, systems, and test reporting processes are successfully transformed and onboarded to NEHR in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Biomedical Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Diploma holders with relevant healthcare IT experience may also be considered.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, business analysis, clinical systems, laboratory information systems (LIS), or healthcare operations.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, system implementation, UAT coordination, and defect management.
• Experience working with users, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Experience in healthcare systems such as LIS, EMR, HIS, or NEHR-related projects would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to analyse workflows and translate business needs into system requirements.
• Good understanding of testing methodologies and issue management processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of HL7, LOINC, SNOMED CT, healthcare terminology mapping, or interoperability standards.
• Experience supporting NEHR onboarding, regulatory compliance, or digital healthcare initiatives
• Understanding of laboratory workflows, pathology, microbiology, or blood bank operations.
• Basic SQL knowledge would be an advantage.
