Supply Assurance Buyer – 1 Year Contract #HYN

Location: Kaki Bukit, Singapore Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM Employment Type: 1-Year Contract Salary: up to S$5,000 per month We are looking for a Supply Assurance Buyer to support supply planning and procurement activities within a manufacturing environment. This role is suitable for candidates with experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or production planning , as well as candidates who have gained relevant exposure through internships or early-career roles. Key Responsibilities Execute MRP supply requirements, forecasts and supplier exception reports to ensure materials are available according to production requirements.

Monitor supplier delivery commitments and proactively follow up on outstanding deliveries.

Expedite materials and resolve supply shortages to minimise disruption to production.

Manage quality notifications, engineering/change requests, supplier returns, goods receipts and invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing and supply chain data in the ERP system.

Monitor inventory levels and support initiatives to optimise inventory while minimising excess and holding costs.

Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve supply-related issues and support smooth production operations.

Ensure purchasing activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and requirements.

Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement or a related discipline.

Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply planning or materials planning is preferred.

Experience within a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.

Exposure to electronics, mechanical, biotechnology, microelectronics or other manufacturing environments is relevant.

Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and MS Office .

Experience with SAP ERP is preferred.

Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
